Offering flowers and incense at the memorial house of President Ho Chi Minh and the heroic martyrs at Do Luong Martyrs Cemetery, the delegation of the province expressed their sincere respect and deep gratitude to the heroic martyrs who sacrificed their youth and blood for the independence, freedom, peace and development of Vietnam, for the noble and steadfast international friendship between Vietnam and Laos.
The delegation also sincerely prayed for the souls of the martyrs to rest in eternal peace, to bless the nation with peace and prosperity, and for Nghe An to develop more and more, firmly entering a new era of the nation.
Do Luong Martyrs Cemetery is currently the resting place of 2,550 heroic martyrs; including 1,830 martyrs who were officers, soldiers, experts, and volunteers who sacrificed their lives in Laos.
The provincial delegation also offered flowers and incense to commemorate the heroic martyrs at Truong Bon National Historical Relic Site.
In front of the mass grave of 13 martyrs of Youth Volunteer Force Company 317 who died on October 31, 1968 and the memorial house of 1,240 heroic martyrs who died in Truong Bon, the provincial delegation expressed their respect, admiration and deep gratitude to the outstanding children who devoted their youth to the Fatherland.

The war has long since ended, Truong Bon today has become a symbol of Vietnamese youth volunteers, a place that preserves the living values of a generation of young people determined to sacrifice everything for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland, writing a legend of Truong Bon in the 20th century.
Within the framework of the pilgrimage program to the source, the provincial delegation also visited and encouraged wounded soldier Nguyen Thi An and sick soldier Nguyen Trong Quy who directly participated in combat service in the resistance war against the US to save the country.
On behalf of the provincial delegation, comrade Hoang Nghia Hieu - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council expressed gratitude for the contributions of those who have contributed to the revolution, for a peaceful country and prosperous and happy people.
He also encouraged the wounded and sick soldiers with the spirit and will of Uncle Ho's soldiers to overcome difficulties, stabilize their health, and become a strong spiritual support for their families and children.
