As part of a series of trade promotion activities, connecting Hanoi - Nghe An partnership 2022, on the afternoon of June 10,  Nghe An Centre for Investment, Trade, and Tourism Promotion  in tandem with the Hanoi Promotion Agency held A conference promoting and connecting the partnership between Hanoi and Nghe An 2022. Attending the conference were Mr. Hoang Nghia Hieu - Member of Standing Committee of Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of Provincial People's Committee; representatives of leaders of departments, agencies and sectors.

On the side of foreign partners, there were: Mr. Lee Joon Ho - Representative Office of Trade Promotion Agency of Chungcheongnam Province (Korea) in Hanoi; Mr. Yuichiro Shiotani - General Director of Aeon Topvalu Vietnam Company Limited and members of the delegation.

Addressing at the opening of the conference, Mr. Hoang Nghia Hieu - Vice Chairman of the PPC affirmed that, in the past years, the deployment of cooperation contents between Nghe An province and Hanoi in general and cooperation in the field of Investment, trade and tourism promotion in particular have achieved many comprehensive results, contributing to promoting socio-economic development, promoting the strengths of each locality, ensuring national defense - security and social security.

These achievements are not only the efforts of the authorities and people of the two localities but also recognize the cooperation, overcoming difficulties, and non-stop dedication of the business community operating in investment, trade and tourism come from Nghe An and Hanoi.

Following that success, to continue to support and share experiences in investment promotion, trade connection and tourism development, the authorities of Hanoi City and Nghe An province coordinated to organize the conference promoting and connecting the partnership between Hanoi and Nghe An 2022 with the expectation of concretizing the desire for cooperation and development of the two local governments and business communities.

Through this conference, Mr. Hoang Nghia Hieu, Vice Chairman of the PPC would like to ask Hanoi Promotion Agency and Nghe An Centre for Investment, Trade, and Tourism Promotion would create an environment for not only the business community in Hanoi and Nghe An but also from domestic and international localities connect to cooperate, research  opportunities, expand business activities on the basis of making the most of internal resources, development potential in the context of globalization and digital transformation happening strongly day by day.

Mr. Nguyen Van Nam, Deputy Director of Nghe An Centre for Investment, Trade, and Tourism Promotion emphasized: Nghe An is a locality with advantages in tourism with tourist attractions spread throughout the province, of which the most prominent are cultural, historical tourism and eco-tourism. In order to make better use of the existing tourism potential, the province would like to attract projects of eco-tourism, resorts and high-class hotels (5-star standard); high-class entertainment area; system of eco-restaurants, meeting the standards of serving tourists. Along with that, focus on attracting large-scale and branded projects of commercial centers and supermarkets. Priority is given to investors with national and international business systems.

With a high determination from awareness to action in attracting investment, Nghe An province always welcomes investors to survey and learn the cooperation opportunities and make investment decisions in the province. Nghe An province is committed to always accompanying investors from the research, survey, and selection of investment locations in accordance with the planning, and at the same time to meet the production and business requirements of the investors in settlement of administrative procedures for project deployment and in construction investment activities. Focus on directing relevant departments, branches, localities and units to actively coordinate and promptly support to solve difficulties, problems, recommendations and proposals of investors. The province is also committed to creating the most favorable conditions in policies, investment and business environment for investors.

At the conference, the delegates focused on discussing support options to introduce Nghe An investment environment to Korean and Japanese enterprises; demand orientation and quality standards when putting products into modern distribution and export systems; solutions to strengthen connection and enterprises trade between localities; solutions to develop OCOP products, craft village products associated with tourism, etc.
