At the regular meeting of the provincial
People's Committee on June 3, 2025, Director of the Department of Finance Trinh
Thanh Hai reported that the state budget revenue in the area for the first five
months of the year is projected to reach 10,846 billion VND, achieving 61.2% of
the provincial People's Council's assigned plan, and 103.5% compared to the
same period last year. Of this, domestic revenue is projected at 10,069 billion
VND, reaching 62.9% of the plan and 103.3% compared to the same period in 2024;
revenue from import and export activities is projected at 701.3 billion VND,
achieving 43% of the plan, and 98.7% compared to the same period.

chaired the meeting. Attending the meeting were the Deputy Chairman of the
Provincial People's Council, Deputy Chairman of the Provincial People's

of the Provincial People's Committee and leaders of relevant departments,

In May 2025, various levels and sectors continued to
direct the execution of key tasks for the second quarter of 2025. This month
features several significant holidays, particularly the 135th anniversary of
President Ho Chi Minh's birth (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2025).
In the agricultural sector, localities focused on
harvesting annual crops from the Spring season and initiated production for the
Summer-Fall and Autumn seasons of 2025.

The
index of industrial production (IIP) in May is projected to have increased by
18.4% compared to the same period in 2024. Cumulatively, for the first five
months, the IIP is projected to have risen by 13.89% year-on-year, with the
mining industry increasing by 15.91%, the processing and manufacturing industry
rising by 13.69%, the production and distribution of electricity, gas, hot
water, steam, and air conditioning increasing by 16.01%, and water supply,
waste management, and wastewater treatment rising by 9.91% compared to the same
period last year.
Regarding fundamental construction: The total
public investment plan for 2025 has allocated in detail: 9,068.41 billion VND /
plan assigned by the Prime Minister of 10,003.954 billion VND, achieving
90.65%; unallocated: 935.544 billion VND, accounting for 9.35%.
The provincial People's Committee continues to
decisively direct units to accelerate the construction progress and
disbursement of the public investment plan for 2025; working delegations led by
the Vice Chairpersons of the provincial People's Committee have inspected 08
projects to urge progress. As of May 20, 2025, the total public investment plan
for 2025 has disbursed 2,703.973 billion VND, reaching 27.03%; of which, the
concentrated public investment source has disbursed 1,063.75 billion VND,
reaching 22.56%. Some funding sources have achieved quite good disbursement
rates, such as: the National Target Program for New Rural Development (61.98%),
land use revenue allocated to the provincial budget for concentrated public
investment (35.56%), and lottery revenue (45.63%). There are 18 investor units
with disbursement rates above the provincial average.
Export
turnover in May 2025 is projected at 320 million USD, an increase of 11.63%,
while import turnover is projected at 200 million USD, equivalent to 80.38% of
the same period last year. Cumulatively, in the first five months of the year,
export turnover is projected at 1.461 billion USD, an increase of 26.2%, and
import turnover is projected at 1.124 billion USD, an increase of 11.67%
compared to the same period in 2024.
It is estimated that in May
2025, the number of tourists reaches 1.4 million tourists, of which 850,000 tourists are overnight
guests, and the total revenue from tourists is be 4.163 trillion VND. Cumulatively, in the first
five months of the year, the province welcomed 4.8 million tourists, of which
2.9 million were overnight guests (an increase of 11% compared to the same
period last year), international visitors reached 39,800, and the total revenue
from tourism was 14.265
trillion VND (an increase of 15% compared to the same period last year), of
which the revenue from tourism services is estimated to reach 5.506 trillion
VND.

and international integration continue to be implemented effectively.
Investment attraction activities continue to receive attention and direction.
In the month, the province approved investment proposals/issued investment
registration certificates for 07 projects with a total investment of 316.7
billion VND; adjusted 18 projects, including 06 capital adjustments, with a
total adjusted capital increase of 326.2 billion VND. The total newly granted
and adjusted investment capital is 642.9 billion VND.
State budget revenue in
the area for the first five months of the year is estimated to reach 10,846
billion VND, achieving 61.2% of the provincial People's Council's assigned
plan, and 103.5% compared to the same period last year; local budget
expenditure is estimated to reach 20,889 billion VND, achieving 49.7% of the
plan.
In the field of culture,
society continues to receive good attention. In this regard, the Ministry of Education
and Training has focused on directing educational institutions to complete the
teaching plan for the second semester and to summarize the 2024 - 2025 school
year according to the plan; preparing the necessary conditions for the entrance
exam to the 10th grade of high school for the 2025 - 2026 school year and the
high school graduation exam in 2025.
In the month, a series of activities commemorating
the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birth (May 19, 1980 - May 19,
2025) was successfully organized, especially the Sen Village Festival in 2025
and the inauguration of the statue "Uncle Ho visiting his hometown."
The activities connecting labor
supply and demand, as well as job creation, continue to be strengthened in
management. In the month, the entire province has created jobs for 5,100
people, of which 1,998 workers were sent to work abroad under contracts, an
increase of 6.8% compared to the same period last year.
The program for mobilizing and
supporting the construction and repair of houses for the poor and those with
housing difficulties continues to be implemented decisively and effectively; as
of May 29, 2025, the entire province has built and repaired 18,511 houses,
achieving 88.05% of the total demand (21,024 houses), striving to complete the
remaining 2,513 houses before July 31, 2025.
The work of arranging
administrative units and building a two-tier local government organization
model has been implemented decisively, ensuring compliance with the progress
required by the Central Government. Security, national defense, and social
order and safety in the area have been ensured.
