Nghe An province leads the North Central region in the Public Administration Reform Index (PAR INDEX) in 2023

On the morning of April 17, at
the Government Headquarters, the Government's Public Administration Reform (PAR) Steering
Committee organized a conference to announce the PAR INDEX of ministries, departments,
localities and the Satisfaction Index of Public Administration Services (SIPAS)
in 2023.
The
results of PAR index of provinces and centrally run cities in 2023 are divided
into 02 groups: Group A, reaching Index results of 90% or higher, has 07
provinces and cities. Group B, reaching Index results from 80% to less than
90%, has 56 provinces and cities.

According
to the announced results, the 2023 PAR INDEX of Nghe An province ranks 15 out
of 63 provinces and cities nationwide; ranked first among the provinces in the
North Central region.
Regarding
the SIPAS index, Nghe An province reached 85.62, ranking 12 out of 63 provinces
and cities in the country, ranking 2nd among the provinces in the
North Central region.
The report
of the Government's Administrative Reform Steering Committee assesses that the
achievements of administrative reform in the previous year of ministries, departments and localities have been basically quantified and
expressed through score and ranking results of the Administrative Reform Index
of ministries, ministerial-level agencies, and People's Committees of provinces
and centrally run cities in 2023. Since its implementation, the PAR INDEX
continues to affirm itself as an important management tool and an important
measure to help clearly identify strengths and weaknesses in implementing the
administrative reform tasks of each ministry, department, province, city; At
the same time, individualizing responsibilities to each individual and
organization in performing administrative reform tasks contributes to improving
the effectiveness of leadership, direction and administration of heads of
ministries, departments, localities and agencies and units.
