The event is being held as part of the ASEAN Tourism Forum (ATF) 2024 which is underway in Vientiane from January 22 to January 27, 2024. Nghe An province participated on display at the booth with the Viet Nam National Authority of Tourism.

Travex is one of the key activities of the ATF 2024. At the fair, Nghe An participated in a booth with the theme "Nghe An - President Ho Chi Minh's hometown".

Travex is organized to attract the attention of partners, enterprises and international visitors with many exciting marginal activities such as exhibitions, talks, forums, product introductions, and professional seminars between the tourism ministers of the expanded ASEAN countries, etc.

Delegates visit the Vietnamese booths

Nghe An's booth belongs to the general booth of Viet Nam tourism, introducing images of the Kim Lien Special National Relic - Nam Dan district, Cua Lo beach, Ví and Dặm Folk Songs of Nghệ Tĩnh, images of the Western region of Nghe An and displays introducing products, publications, tourist gifts, outstanding event program in 2024 and video recordings introducing Nghe An tourism.

The ATF 2024 has many important activities such as the 59th ASEAN National Tourism Organizations Meeting, the 44th Meeting of ASEAN National Tourism Organizations Plus Three, the 23rd Meeting of ASEAN Tourism Ministers Plus Three, ASEAN Tourism Awards ceremony, the 27th Meeting of the ASEAN Tourism Ministers and many other marginal activities.
