On business trip in Do Luong district, on the morning of June 21, the delegation led by Mr. Nguyen Duc Trung - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee (PPC) went to inspect a number of projects and production models in the district. Also participating were leaders of relevant departments and branches.

The PPC Chairman and the delegation visited the building project of BacABank branch office, office for lease, supermarket cluster of general services and restoration of villages along Khuon river in Hoa Son commune, Do Luong district which is invested by Bac A Joint Stock Commercial Bank.

The investor proposes to expand the planning by 7ha, close to National Highway 7C, in which, some items such as urban areas and adjacent houses will be added

The project was granted Investment Certificate No. 27111000086 by the PPC, certified for the first time on July 18, 2011, and registered to adjust the project scale, total investment capital and implementation schedule. The total land area is 44,169.4m2. Total investment capital is 252,656 billion VND with 100% core capital of investor.

Then the delegation visited Giang Son hot spring in Giang Son Dong commune and Giang Son Tay commune. Giang Son Hot Spring (volume 2,050,000m3) is located about 2 km from National Highway 15A, 4 km from milestone Km zero on the Ho Chi Minh trail and 15 km from Do Luong town. This is an ideal place to enjoy and relax in combination with eco-tourism. For a long time, this place is known as an area with a large reserve of hot mineral water.

To attract investment, exploit this special hot mineral water resource, and at the same time build functional areas for tourism, relax, and other commercial services, Tourrism complex of entertainment and resort in Do Luong district has been approved by the PPC for the general planning to be built in Document No. 2387/UBND-CN dated April 4, 2023.

On the basis of attracting investment, creating driving force for the development of the complex of eco-tourism, resort and golf course in Giang Son commune, the District People's Committee proposed the PPC to simultaneously draw up the planning of 02 construction subdivisions and the general plan to build the complex tourist area, entertainment and resort in Do Luong district.

Next, the delegation visited and checked the field of the new central planning area of the district. New central planning area of the district with a total area of about 270 ha, including communes of Da Son, Van Son, Lac Son, Yen Son and Do Luong town; having the population of about 14,000 people.

Characteristics of Do Luong new urban center area, including: Land of Administrative Center, Square; Commercial Land, Traditional Market, Exhibition area for craft village products; Land for houses, villas, townhouses, shophouses; Land for Trees, Sports; Land for School, Kindergarten, Medical Station, Cultural House; Land for parking, technical infrastructure, garbage collection area and existing land such as registration center, pretroleum station, bus station, existing lot division, etc.

Also this morning, the delegation visited KIDO Vinh Co., Ltd, at Lac Son Industrial Cluster.

KIDO Vinh Co., Ltd. was granted the Investment Certificate by Nghe An PPC on January 26, 2011 with a total investment capital of 11,600,000 USD. The factory produces textile products, swimming suits, leather products, accessories for clothing, including logo printing on costumes.

The company started construction and officially went into operation on June 01, 2012 with a total leased land area of 70,223m2. Currently, the company has 44 production lines with an average output of 1,200,000 products/year. The company has created jobs for 3,800-4,300 employees. Revenue in 2022 reached 556 billion VND, expected to reach 610 billion VND in 2023. Paying to the state budget in 2022 reached 14.3 billion VND; expected to increase to 15.5 billion VND in 2023. The average salary of employees is 6,000,000 VND/month. Payment of social insurance, health insurance and unemployment insurance in 2022 reached 60 billion VND; expected to increase to 66 billion VND in 2023.

Recognizing and appreciating the results achieved by KIDO Vinh Co., Ltd. after more than 10 years of establishment and operation in Do Luong district, the PPC Chairman Nguyen Duc Trung said that the company has contributed to creating jobs and stable income for local workers. This is also an FDI enterprise that has established a Party organization.

Sharing with the difficulties of enterprises in the current period, when export orders decrease, labor displacement causes a shortage of labor resources, the PPC Chairman proposed the local government to stand side by side, accompany and support investors in the process of production and business activities; the Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs branch pays attention to and coordinate to solve and find additional labor sources to meet the Company's production expansion needs.
