The growth rate of gross regional domestic product (GRDP) is estimated to increase by 9.01%, ranking 2^nd in the North Central region, 3^rd in the North Central and Central coastal regions, and 13^th in the country. State budget revenue is estimated at VND 23,751 billion, exceeding 49.3% of the estimate, exceeding 10.4% compared to 2023, the third consecutive year exceeding the 20,000 billion VND mark and approaching the target of the 19^th Provincial Party Congress. Investment attraction has achieved positive results, in two consecutive years 2022 and 2023, it is in the top 10 localities attracting the largest FDI capital in the country.

The whole province has completed 9,772 houses for the poor and people in difficult circumstances, with a total budget mobilized from socialized sources of over 727 billion VND.

Administrative reform and digital transformation continue to receive strong direction and have positive changes. National defense and security are maintained, social order and safety are ensured. Party building and government building are given attention and focus, including the work of the Youth Union and youth movements. These positive results have great contributions from the youth union members.

Reviewing some highlights in the cooperative relationship between Nghe An province and neighboring provinces of Laos, the Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee affirmed that the loyal friendship and solidarity between Viet Nam and Laos, between Nghe An province and neighboring provinces sharing the border with neighboring Laos have been continuously nurtured over the years. Over the past years, together with the people of the whole country, the Party Committee, Government and People of Nghe An province have always promoted the tradition and inherited the revolutionary achievements that the Party, State and People of the two countries have worked hard to build. Exchange and cooperation activities in all fields have become increasingly in-depth, practical and effective.

Nghe An province is currently proposing a policy mechanism to support social insurance for Lao patients when they come to Nghe An for medical treatment. In the past two school years, the Ethnic Boarding High School No. 2 has received 61 students to study high school.
