The 2026 Cua Lo Tourism Festival, “The Sea Calls in All Seasons,” features many special activities
The
Provincial People's Committee has just issued Plan No. 185/KH-UBND dated March
18, 2026, on organizing the Cua Lo Tourism Festival with the theme "The
Sea Calls in All Seasons".
The highlight of the event is the opening ceremony of
the 2026 Cua Lo Tourism Festival, themed “Cua Lo – Tinh hoa Lam Thuy,” which is
scheduled to take place at 8:00 PM on April 25, 2026, at Binh Minh Square.
Notably, during the opening night, the locality will
officially announce the title “ASEAN Clean Tourist City” for Cua Lo,
accompanied by a spectacular high-altitude fireworks display. The program will
be broadcast live on NTV and digital platforms to reach a wide audience.
Not limited to the summer season, the 2026 Festival is
designed in three main phases to promote sustainable tourism. Specifically, Cua
Lo – Radiant Summer will focus on vibrant sports and cultural activities, such
as the Nghe An Provincial Golf Tournament, the “Journey Following Uncle Ho”
Marathon, the National Beach Sepak Takraw Tournament, as well as ice cream
festivals and water battles at VinWonders Cua Hoi.
Cua Lo in Autumn: The highlight will be the Cua Lo Sea
Carnival, the North Central Vietnam Culinary and Tourism Festival, and notably,
the final round of the Tien Phong Newspaper Beauty Pageant, scheduled for
August 2026.
Cua Lo - A Seaside Town Without Winter: For the first
time, pilot programs for new tourism tours will be launched, including the sea
experience show “Loi Vi Neo Song” and international events such as Jetski
races, aiming to attract visitors during the low season.
In addition to entertainment activities, the
Provincial People’s Committee focuses on environmental protection and improving
service quality. The plan includes the launch ceremony “For a Clean, Green, and
Beautiful Sea Environment” and training courses on proper conduct for tourism
staff. The goal is to make every resident of Cua Lo a friendly and professional
tour guide.
Under this plan, the Provincial People’s Committee has
also assigned specific responsibilities to each relevant department and Cua Lo
ward to promote the recovery and development of tourism, contributing to the
province’s socio-economic development goals and objectives for 2026.
