Plan for implementing external information activities in Nghe An province in 2026
On February 07, 2026, the Provincial People’s
Committee (PPC) issued Plan No. 93/KH-UBND on external information work of Nghe
An province in 2026 to concretize the Directives, Resolutions and instructions
of the Party and the Government on external information work in the new
situation, while continuing to promote the effectiveness of external
information work for the socio-economic development of the province in the
current period.
At the same time, promote and publicize
the image of Nghe An to people and visitors at home and abroad; introduce
potentials, strengths, advantages, mechanisms and policies, and opportunities
to attract economic resources, investment capital and human resources; create
momentum for the overall socio-economic development of the province in the
fields of trade, logistics, healthcare, education and training, science and
technology, industry and high-tech agriculture, tourism... aiming to soon make
Nghe An a fairly developed province of the country. In addition, fight against
and refute wrongful and distorted allegations of opportunistic and hostile
forces, especially on issues related to sovereignty over seas and islands,
territorial borders, democracy, human rights and religion.
The PPC sets out key contents of external
information work in 2026 that need to be focused on, including: Reviewing,
developing and promulgating legal normative documents after implementing the
two-level local government model; implementing Government Resolution No.
47/NQ-CP on the Government’s Action Program until 2030 to implement Conclusion
No. 57-KL/TW dated June 15, 2023 of the Politburo on continuing to improve the
quality and effectiveness of external information work in the new situation.
Implement the Decision of the Prime
Minister approving objectives, tasks and solutions to innovate and improve the
capacity of information and communication and external information work
contributing to building peaceful, friendly, cooperative and developing
borders; the Decision approving the Project on communication about human rights
in Vietnam; the Decision of the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism
approving the Project on developing the external information portal Vietnam.vn
into a national image promotion platform.
The PPC requires that external information
work must be implemented in a unified, accurate, regular and continuous manner,
at the right time with the coordination of authorities at all levels, sectors,
localities, people and enterprises; renewing content and diversifying forms of
promotion and introduction of the image, potential and strengths of Nghe An province,
especially through the application of digital platforms. Implementing to
departments, sectors, localities, agencies, organizations and the people the
contents of promoting and building the image of the province, thereby raising
awareness, creating high consensus, and promoting the proactive and active
spirit of the entire political system and residential community in
participating in building the image of the province.
Focus on solutions to accelerate the
recognition of the province’s image among all target groups, especially: the
business community, major investment corporations in Vietnam and foreign
investors who continue to pay attention to and seek investment and business
opportunities in Nghe An province; domestic and international tourists; travel
service enterprises; agencies, organizations and the people of Nghe An province
so that each official and each citizen of Nghe An becomes a promoter of the
province’s image. Provide accurate, prompt and timely information and guide
public opinion; strictly comply with regulations on information confidentiality
and protection of state secrets in external information activities in
accordance with current regulations.
The PPC assigns the Department of Culture,
Sports and Tourism to take the lead and coordinate with departments, branches,
and the People’s Committees of communes and wards, as well as relevant
agencies, based on the assigned tasks, to develop specific programs to
implement this Plan in a practical, effective and economical manner, while evaluating
the implementation results and reporting to the Provincial People’s Committee
in accordance with regulations.
