Nghe An province is expected to welcome approximately 367,000 visitors
This year's Tet holiday lasted 9 days,
with favorable weather conditions, creating ideal conditions for locals and
tourists to enjoy spring outings, sightseeing, and experiences. Right at the
stroke of midnight, a 15-minute fireworks display at Ho Chi Minh Square
attracted a large crowd of people and tourists, kicking off a series of vibrant
cultural and tourism activities in the province.
In various localities, numerous cultural
and artistic programs celebrating the Party and the Lunar New Year, as well as
sports competitions and traditional folk games, were organized, contributing to
a joyful and enthusiastic atmosphere, while also promoting sightseeing and
relaxation activities and increasing the number of tourists using tourism
services.

Spiritual and cultural-historical tourism continues to
be a highlight in the product structure at the beginning of the year.Ong Hoang Muoi TempleThe area welcomed nearly 120,000
visitors; Ho Chi Minh Square and the Ho Chi Minh Monument attracted nearly
50,000; the Kim Lien Historical Site and the temple of Emperor Quang Trung
welcomed nearly 20,000 visitors; and the Nghe An - Soviet Nghe Tinh Museum
welcomed nearly 1,800 visitors.
Destinations such as Con Temple, Qua Son Temple, Bach Ma Temple,
Nguyen Xi Temple, Dai Tue Pagoda, Phuc Lac Pagoda, the Km0 National Special
Monument, and Truong Bon Historical Site… also recorded a high increase
in visitors, especially during the peak days from the 2nd to the 6th day of the
Lunar New Year.
In addition, ecotourism, resort, and community-based
tourism destinations continue to thrive. Hon Mat Ecotourism and Hotel welcomed
over 700 visitors; Do Luong Legend Camping & Resort nearly 1,200; Muong
Long Eco Garden, Hoa Tien village, Muong Thanh Greenland Dien Lam ecotourism
area… attracted a large number of tourists from within and outside the province
to visit and experience.
Before and during the Lunar New Year
holiday, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism issued and implemented
directives to localities, tourism management boards, and service businesses.
The directives focused on ensuring a safe and civilized tourism environment;
displaying and selling at the listed prices; developing plans to serve tourists
during peak season; strictly enforcing regulations on fire prevention and
control, food safety and hygiene, and public order; and publicizing a hotline
for receiving and handling tourist complaints.
Inspection and supervision work has been
strengthened; inspections have shown that security and order, environmental
hygiene, food safety, and service quality are basically ensured, with no
incidents affecting tourism activities in the province.
