Job Fair for Employment Connection and Recruitment for Enterprises in the Economic Zone and Industrial Parks
On the morning of July 4, 2026, the Job Fair connecting and
recruiting workers for businesses in the Economic Zone and Industrial Parks of
Nghe An province (Phase 3, 2026) took place at Hoang Mai I Industrial Park.
Attending the fair were Mr. Bui Thanh An - Member of the Standing Committee of
the Provincial Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial
People's Committee (PPC); leaders of various departments and agencies; leaders
of businesses; and a large number of workers.
Permanent
Vice Chairman of the PPC Bui Thanh An, together with leaders of provincial departments
and agencies and workers, received career counseling and recruitment
information for employment at enterprises, as well as vocational training
consultation and career orientation for the future.
Strengthening the connection between
labor supply and demand, supporting businesses in recruitment.
The third Job Fair, organized by
the Management Board of the Southeast Nghe An Economic Zone, aims to strengthen the connection
between labor supply and demand, support businesses in recruitment, and create
job opportunities for workers right in their hometown. This is the first time
the Job Fair has come to the northern region – where the Hoang Mai I, Hoang Mai
II, Dong Hoi, and Nghia Dan industrial parks are rapidly developing, creating
an increasing demand for skilled, disciplined, and industrially-minded human
resources.
Organizing a Job Fair is not only
an activity connecting businesses and job seekers, but also a practical bridge
helping workers find stable jobs right in their hometowns; helping businesses
access suitable and timely human resources. At the same time, it provides
students with more practical information to help them orient their careers in
line with the needs of the labor market.
Speaking at the event, Nguyen
Manh Loi, Deputy Head of the Management Board of the Southeast Nghe An Economic
Zone and Deputy Head of the Job Fair Organizing Committee, expressed his hope
that workers would find jobs that match their abilities and aspirations; that
businesses would recruit human resources that meet production requirements; and
that students would have more basis to choose the right career path.
The Deputy Head of the Job Fair
Organizing Committee requested that businesses provide complete and transparent
information on recruitment and policies; and that job seekers proactively seek
information and exchange information directly at the booths to find the most
suitable and best job position for themselves.
The Management Board of the
Southeast Nghe An Economic Zone is committed to continuing to work alongside
businesses in improving the investment and business environment, supporting
recruitment, connecting training, and developing sustainable human resources
for the northern part of the province in particular and the entire province in general.
Building a dynamic, humane, and sustainable labor market.
Permanent Vice Chairman
of the PPC Bui Thanh An speaks
Speaking at the event, the
Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Bui Thanh An,
said: In the first six months of 2026 – the first year of
implementing the Resolution of the 20th Provincial Party Congress – Nghe An
province has experienced many encouraging signs. The province's GRDP growth
rate is estimated at approximately 9.65%, with industrial production continuing
to be the driving force: the Industrial Production
Index (IIP) is estimated to increase by 23.01%, with the processing and
manufacturing industry increasing by as much as 25.02%. Goods export turnover
is estimated at over 3.15 billion USD, an increase of 58.4% compared to the
same period; the group of electronic equipment and components alone accounted
for 53.4% of the total turnover and increased by over 173.4% – showing that
Nghe An is rising to become a regional center for electronic component production.
The province saw the
establishment of 2,884 new businesses, a 3.44% increase compared to the same
period last year. Investment capital continued to flow strongly into the
province, with total newly registered and increased investment capital
approximately 5.1 times higher than the same period last year; many large-scale
FDI projects such as Luxshare-ICT, Radiant, Runergy, and Innovation Precision
have been operating stably; along with the addition of new production capacity
from projects such as Sihitek, Luxshare-ICT 2, and JunHao electronic materials.
Notably, the intensified efforts to connect labor supply and demand have
contributed to creating approximately 24,800 new jobs in the first six months
of the year.
These figures not only reflect
the growth momentum but also confirm the current high demand for labor, with
each new job opening creating new development opportunities for workers in the
province. This is also an important foundation for the province to strive to
achieve double-digit GRDP growth for the whole year of 2026.
Today's job fair brings together
businesses from the Hoang Mai I, Hoang Mai II, Dong Hoi, and Nghia Dan
industrial zones, seeking to fill approximately 1,500 positions, ranging from
unskilled laborers to technicians and skilled workers. The strong shift towards
the electronics and high-tech industries is creating opportunities for workers
who are eager to learn and improve their skills.
Permanent Vice Chairman of the PPC Bui Thanh An Hopefully , workers will confidently approach recruitment
booths, directly discuss and thoroughly understand the job, salary, and
benefits to make the most suitable choice. Right here in Hoang Mai, in their
hometown, workers can absolutely find stable jobs with good income and a
professional environment, while still being close to family and loved ones –
something many previously had to leave their hometowns to achieve.
The province understands that
while salary is a necessary condition for long-term employee retention, the
sufficient condition lies in a safe and stable living environment and a secure
future to build. Therefore, alongside attracting investors, the province is
focusing on implementing social housing projects with the goal of completing
2,000 units by 2026, prioritizing areas around industrial zones; and
simultaneously gradually improving facilities such as schools, healthcare ,
culture, and sports so that each worker not only has a job but also a
fulfilling and happy life.
To the graduating students, the Permanent
Vice Chairman of the PPC urged them to confidently
seize opportunities, not hesitate to start with internships to cultivate a
professional work ethic and discipline; proactively improve their foreign
language skills, digital skills, and life skills to be ready to work in the
environment of multinational corporations. He encouraged them to use their
intellect, youthful energy, and desire to contribute to help businesses bring
Nghe An-branded products to the world.
To ensure the Job Fair truly goes
in-depth and yields sustainable results, the Permanent Vice Chairman of the PPC requested the Management Board of the Southeast Economic
Zone, the Department of Internal Affairs, the Department of Education and
Training, the Provincial Employment Service Center, the local authorities of
wards and communes, training institutions, and the business community to
continue closely following and concretizing Project No. 40-DA/TU of the
Provincial Party Committee, Directive No. 33-CT/TU of the Standing Committee of
the Provincial Party Committee, and Plan No. 165/KH-UBND of the Provincial
People's Committee; considering the connection between labor supply and demand
and human resource development as a regular task, linked to the province's
double-digit growth target.
Promoting recruitment on digital
platforms, building a continuously updated job database, and establishing
seamless connections between workers, schools, and businesses will ensure that
networking activities take place not only during job fairs but throughout the
year.
Businesses, vocational training
institutions, and high schools in the area proactively sign and implement
training cooperation regulations based on "orders," linking training
to actual needs so that students can find employment immediately after
graduation, and businesses have a qualified workforce.
The Permanent Vice Chairman of
the PPC requested that investors and businesses
always consider their employees as their most valuable asset; paying attention
to wages, benefits, and safe and friendly working conditions so that each
employee truly considers the enterprise as their second home and a long-term
partner in the enterprise's development.
Nghe An - the homeland of the
beloved President Ho Chi Minh - will always stand alongside, listen to, and
share with businesses and workers. The Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial
People's Committee believes that, with the joint efforts and cooperation of the
government, the business community, and each worker, they will together build a
dynamic, humane, and sustainable labor market.
